A lot of people think that JScript and Java Script are different but similar languages. They are just different names for the same language, and the reason the names are different was to get around trademark issues.
However, JScript supports conditional compilation, which allows a programmer to selectively execute code within block comments.
Be familiar with Update Share Point Add-ins and the prerequisites and core concepts included in it.
This topic assumes that you have developed and tested the latest version of the add-in as described in the Create and debug the new version as if it were a brand new add-in.
This process has not changed since Share Point 2010 and is documented in How to: Add Elements to an Existing Feature in the Share Point 2010 SDK.
Other articles in the Upgrading Features node may be helpful also, but consider that add-ins must not include custom code on the Share Point server, so some aspects of Feature upgrading in Share Point 2010 are not relevant to updating add-ins.
Microsoft also announced that they would distribute Intelli Sense-annotated documentation Java Script files for Visual Studio 2008 that developers can reference in their files to enable Intelli Sense for j Query.
The following instructions will help you get started using this tool to make writing j Query scripts faster than ever. At the top of the Java Script file in which you would like to have j Query Intelli Sense enabled, you will need to add a line to reference the documentation file: There are a couple of scenarios that may affect if you include a reference to the VSDOC file or not.
You just don't code it simply because you think it's right.
Fire up visual studio (this has been tested on 2005, 2008) 2. Remember that tinymce folder you had saved temporarily, well it's time to drag and drop that folder into this project.
The result of that looks like this: tiny MCE has an init() function which initalizes the mode, the theme, the various buttons within the toolbars and so on.
All of the Share Point components that are deployed to the add-in web are contained in Web-scoped Features in the add-in package.
For that reason, updating these components is a matter of updating one or more of the Features.
